Here at school, random blog :)

Okay so as you could see by the title I'm at school.....I was sitting here obviously not working on much and I started thinking about my cosplays that I have planed for the future and realized that when you compare it to how many cons we go to a year....(not including small events like ani-jam stuffs)we usually go to one big con a year so that's like 3 or four days??....I have my cosplays planed for like 3 years! I mean they aren't FOR SURE!! But I will eventually do all these and yeah. I wish I could go to more cons so I could have places to wear them. I need to get a good job I suppose, because cosplay is forever so I need to plan ahead XD. I really want to do more cosplays! I only have a few planned but with no place to wear them .....why spend the money ...I suppose I could have photo shoots.....idk I guess its just a problem every cosplayer has....MONEY!!!!!!! well I guess in the end I'm glad just to have fun with my friends and do what I love :)

Okay so on Saturday I went cosplay shopping for my fabric(fanime). I got all the fabric for one of my coslpays and I also got a (VERY EXPENSIVE) undergarment that I needed. I know I could have found a cheaper one, but its not like im only using it for one cosplay and then thronging it away!.............I felt very uncomfortable in that store...to be honest I feel uncomfortable in any underwear store so I was like.......terrified in that place (Victoria secret btw) anywho......we also went to lows and Red Robbins (YUMMMMM). after that we went back to Keika's and chilled there for a while. it was FUN! we talked about or skit and many other things. I had to go home though, so we got on MSN and talked for a while. that was even more fun! at the moment we are talking about trying to get more people (mainly guys) to do a group cosplay with us so we will have like ALL OF THE CHARACTERS! a few are quit girly but you know. We have 9 people in our group and EVERYONE is doing a cosplay from this particular video game so its gonna be epic! we dont NEED more people.....but we WANT them lol! I also hope the Robbie ends up cosplaying with us as well. She would make a hardcore Alice and I hope she really thinks about it. I also hope we weren't pressuring her to much.....oh well anywho you people most likely have no idea what im talking about but yeah I'll post progress ASAP!!!! bye bye peoples!

what really happened last weekend

As you know i put up a blog about what i was PLANING on doing this last weekend. But,of course, NOTHING we planed ended up happening. the only thing we planned to NOT do (work on fanime cosplays) did though.........cuz thats how we are i suppose. we got so much done it was CRAZY! we should say were not going to work on cosplay more often, then we might actually get crap done! lol XD anywho here are some fanime 2010 progress pics.

Long weekend (hope of progress)

So I have a four day Weekend this week, i had originally decided to take a break from cosplay to focus on my school work and driving tests (no I cant drive yet,because I'm lazy and terrified of driving with other cars).anywho As you all know (cuz i told ya lol) me and my friend Ne-Chan won a masquerade at AOD and won alot of prises, we kept some but we decided to sell the rest for cosplay moneys! so this weekend we are having a "put everything on eBay" party. We are also going to go through the difficult task of making my Fubuki cosplay easier to put on by making a note of where everything goes. (that might take...you know.....FOREVER!)not only that but were gonna look up YouTube vids of our fav cosplayers.....after that were gonna brain storm about my epic queen Elfaria wings for Fanime. We decided that it is not as far away as we want to believe it is and think that we need to get started on them asap! but i cant forget that i have to finish my TAPS binder and such to graduate.(TAPS is something that only my DUMB school does, well that i know of). I miss my friends so I'm glad that i get to see Ne-Chan. and sheik-Chan needs to come home! but I'm glad she's having fun in Texas. so yeah I have been putting my vids up on YouTube and (four years later!) i have decided that i will most likely put my AOD vids up this weekend :) i think they'll be boring though. i was to busy having fun to make alot of vids :( oh well. so I'm gonna stop talking now haha bye bye peoples!

AOD o_o

Okay so I took some of my friends (who happen to be in my cosplay group) with me to AOD. I had lots of fun and I know its said to be a small con, but there were a lot more people there then I thought there would be.....like a lot more. I had lots of fun and strangely never really got bored at all. Except when I was changing into my fubuki cosplay. It took me and Ne-Chan hours to get all those pieces on! (btw thanks again Ne-Chan) any-who I cosplayed shigure for most of Saturday until the masquerade judging. Okay,I have never really been in a masquerade, so when I went to sign up the lady said she needed to see me in my cosplay I was wearing for the masquerade before 4:00. I thought "hmmmmmm wonder why" I didn't really think to much about it and went to my fruits basket photo shoot with Sheik-chan and Callisto (sp) it was mucho fun! After a bit I looked at the time and noticed it was 3:00. Ne-Chan and I booked it to the room ( I was sad to leave (T.T) but ...you know how it goes) we tried to hurry but didn't have time to finish all the details. We thought...oh there just gonna see that we have one or...IDK! I'm an idiot I didn't know that was the judging! I had no make up (his thick eye liner) and some small pieces were missing. they asked me for a reference pic because they didn't know my character. so I asked if I could also have a bit more time to finish putting on my costume. They said that the line for judging would be down by then and that we could just come back in a lil bit. so we did that and we were juged.....I know, I know, I'm stupid.

So then we went back to the room till we had to meet up at the main events place again. While we were leaving the room we realized we had lost the room key and locked Ne-chan's staff in the room :( ...*sigh* -_-;.....then we had to get a new key.

ANYWAY!!!!!!! After that we went to the masquerade. When it was our turn they played the audio for the people behind us on accident and I did a lil bit of "stall" dancing (I DONT KNOW! MY MIND WENT BLANK!) It was fun over all and we didnt expect to win anything. There were some GREAT cosplayers there! But we ended up winning best of show! I was so excited. Maybe a little too excited but at that point I didnt care. I was just happy.

Oh! Did I mention I also meet Koi cosplay!?! It was sooooo awesome they were soooo nice! The next day I went from shigure in the morning to fubuki in the afternoon for some photo shoots and then to normal clothes and then we went home. :) yup! I left a lot of the secound day out but I wrote too much about the first day so I dont think you'd wanna here more :) but yeah that was my AOD experianc not to mention i turned 18 today wooohooo! ups (sorry for the novel!) sooooooo thanks for reading bye peopleS!

PROGRESS!!!!

I finally got on here! sorry bout the wait. i finally get to show you guys some progress pics.this is my Fubuki cosplay!



and his make up so far (still trying to work this out his eye brows are hard!



well this is part of it, of course i have WAY more done then this but this is what i could get to stay together long enough to take a pic not to mention i look like crap(which is why my face is covered). I also made progress on my shigure cosplay but I have no pic at the moment. Sheik-Chan styled my shigure wig for me! (thanks sheik!!) With the con only a week away I'm starting to get very scared.the question is not "will I get them done?" It's "will i like them in the end or will they look like i had to throw them together?" if I'm not happy with them it wont be much fun to wear them :(.....but It'll be okay :) just a lil worried is all.......procrastination is the worst! wish me luck and pray if you religious cuz I'm gonna need all the help i can get! lol....also i would like to mention that sheik-Chan and Ne-Chan have been great! thanks to my cosplay group for all your help! I will finish them HOPEFULLY!!!!! this week end its a high goal to reach but I've been bribed with CANDY!!!! wow......i sound like a 6 year old........oh well! write you guyz again soon!

cosplay progress

Well you all know how I have my fabric for my Shigure cosplay, but I have finally made some progress. not as much as my friend sheik-Chan but some! I almost have all the pieces cut out of my black fabric. I just need to sew them together and get the buttons (I don't have enough because when I went to get them they only had too packs and I needed 3 or 4) oh and I also got my shoes when I went to take Christmas with the fam and best friend pics with sheik-Chan! I know I said I wouldn't go shopping again untill January, but its so hard not to shop for cosplay! that and I realized money or not I need to get two cosplays done before January 29Th and yeah...................I think you can see where I'm coming from :) I'll post pics soon when I start to sew stuff! sorry I didn't have much to say! :( bye bye peoples! :P
